NASCAR Racing: drivers names, kevin harvick, nascar driver

Question
Hi, Is it possible that a nascar driver signed his autograph different when they first started than after they become famous? I have noticed most popular drivers make the first letters legible and then just scribble the rest I suppose because they sign so many and it's faster.
My girlfriend has a license plate with dale sr. signature and she swears it's his writing, although I checked online for recent signatures of his and they are not even close.

Thanks for any help !

Answer
Hi Jackson,

Dale Sr had a pretty recognizable signature.  It was one of the rare ones that anyone could tell it said "DALE EARNHARDT." Drivers do change the signature over their career because at first, he or she is still gaining fans and has the time to write it out, later, they are whippin out autographs left and right and have time for nothing.  Dale Jr's is starting to get bad and Kevin Harvick's real autograph looks more like a chinese symbol.  Dale Sr always left off the the "T" off of his name and it was a line with a loop.  If i could see the autograph i could probably tell if it's authentic or not.  There are people forging his signature since he has been dead for nearly 7 years, documents of his signature are fading, more opportunty to fake it, etc.
Hope I helped.
