NASCAR Racing: Wheels, stud holes, lugnuts

Question
How do they throw the wheels on a car and get the studs to line up with thw wheel holes?

Answer
Hi Charles,

Pit crews put in countless hours into organizing the perfect pit stop. They practice to keep their times to as close to a 13-14 second stop as they can.  The tire carrier has time, while the tire changer is undoing the lugnuts and taking the worn out tire off, to see how to put the wheel on as to where the 5 studs are, so he can turn the tire so that they match up when he puts it on the studs.  The lugnuts are welded onto the wheel in such a way that they hang over the stud holes on the tire and can break the lugnuts' weld without throwing the lugnut off the wheel, or off the stud path.
The process is hours upon hours of training and precision timing.
Hope I answered your question.
