Chrysler Repair: Replacement right side mirror for Intrepid/Concorde/300M, heated mirror, side mirror

Question
Hello,

A week ago my passenger side view mirror was rather rudely taken off.  Reading the past advice here I figured I could handle replacing it myself so I ordered what I thought was the correct replacement part, but I think I must've missed something because while the form factor is right, the electrical connector is different!

What I ordered was the Kool-Vue part DG37ER which the box claims will fit my 300M.  It has a single row-three pin connector, while my car has a larger socket (two rows and 8 or 12 pins, I think).  I'm guessing all those extra pins are for memory and/or defroster, but all my searching for a replacement mirror just keeps taking me back to what I already have.

So, am I indeed SOL with what I have (or could the connectors be made to work together)?  And if that's the case, can somebody point me to the right replacement mirror?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Tyler,
There appear to be two kinds of power mirrors:
The base mirror that only is for remote adjustment (3 pins)
The memory/heater mirror that also does the extras (13 pins)
Your original set up was the latter memory/heated mirror. You can get one like it from a dealer, but maybe not as an aftermarket item.
If you want to forgo the extra features you would simply need to rewire the connection (hard wire it probably) connecting the pin 1 wire of the new mirror to the wire on pin 2 of the 13-pin plug, pin 2 wire to pin 4, and pin 3 to pin 5 of that original 13-pin plug. The colors of the wires are respectively white, yellow/black, and dark blue.
So if you don't want to pay for the more elaborate mirror from the dealer (though you could search some more for an aftermarket equivalent) then that is how you can use the simpler mirror that you have in hand.
