NASCAR Racing: Nascar historian, greg fielden, old magazines

Hello,
 I was wondering if you could help me out. I am currently studying history and I was wondering what I can do to become a Nascar historian. Nascar is a huge part of my life and I enjoy reading about history. I would really like to look into becoming a Nascar historian. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me. READ! Read every book you can find on NASCAR history, stock up on all of them. Old magazines and programs are a good source. I highly recommend all the books by Greg Fielden who is probably the foremost NASCAR historian of our time. He worked for FOX TV as their historian until a recent illness and all his books have everything you could want to know.
