BMW Repair: BMW e36 fault code : misfire in cylinder 3, bmw e36, e36 318is

i have an e36 318IS 1998 , with S1 engine, and before a month my check engine comse up with a fault code "misfire in cylinder 3" Please help!!

Change the plugs around noting where you put #3 spark plug, clear the faults and test drive.
Read the faults again, if it still says #3 cylinder replace that coil.
If it has "moved", replace the spark plugs.

Also make sure the old plugs are not sitting in oil that would short them out.
This would indicate a leaking rocker cover gasket.
