BMW Repair: BRAKE Light, abs system, dash board

Question
On my dash board the work BRAKE and a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle is illuminated.  What does that mean? It's a 325i 2003

Hi Rachel, you need to 1st look at your owners manual and identify what it says.Is it red or orange?
Could be the brake pad warning light or the abs system with a fault.
 
Unfortunately the symbols vary country to country so i don't know what yours means yet.

Get back to me with this , but in the short term for your safety check the brake fluid level is ok.
