BMW Repair: problem with left rear window., studying in australia, 320i

Question
The left rear window of my 320i, 2000 model, is stuck, and
it won't come up, i am a student studying in australia, and
don't want to spend a lot of money on getting it repaired,
and anyways, i would like to give it a try, fixing it if i
get some directions, i tried to look out for some hidden
bolts, but didn't find any, so i started up online and then
found this, i hope you could help me out with this.

Thankyou.

Answer
Could be anything from the switch to the mechanism to the motor.

First, does the window go up with either the switch at the window, or the switch at the driver?  This would tell you if it is the switch or not.

Next, remove the inner door panel, and look to see if there is anything wrong.  There are usually window or mechanism guides that hold everything in place.  If one of these slipped or broke, it could jam the window.

Next, determine if the motor is getting power when the switch is pushed.  This will determine if it is the motor or mechanism

By the time you reach this point, you may need to replace the assembly.

Good luck!
