BMW Repair: 2000 323i window issues, waranty, power windows

I have had multiple issues with the power windows over the life of my 323i. They were always fixed under warranty. The car is no longer under waranty and I have two current issues. The front driver side window goes up and down, but clicks and seems to be off track. The rear right window will not go up and down with the switch, but it will move freely whe I pull it up and down. My question is, how difficult is it to access the inside of the door panel and is it worth it to try and repair these issue myself?

It's not too dificult to remove the door panel, but I don't believe you will find anything in there that you are able to fix yourself.

Dealers are best for this type of work, and independants and corner mechanics don't have experience in the details of these systems.
