BMW Repair: MY bmw 325i 1994 wont start, bmw 325i, range switch

Question
Hello i have a bmw 1994 325i convertible. I drove it and everything was perfect until i left it for a week. I wanted to start it but when i turn the ignition the lights come on but the i dont even hear no starter turning or any signs from the engine. The funny thing is that the lights dont dim or anything. I removed the starter and it is in a working order. Plus if it matters it was raining everyday for that week and cold. My battery is good and there is gas in the fuel tank. Any advice will be appriciated thanx.

Answer
Check fuse 28, and fuse 10 if its a later '94 unit.

If it;s an automatic, there is also a transmission range switch which tells the car it's in park.  Move the transmission lever from Park through a couple of gears and back to park.

There is also a starter relay, should the others prove OK.

Try these in this order, and let me know what you find.

Good luck!
