BMW Repair: Rear intake plate R&R, head bolts, thread pitch

Question
What size torx driver is needed to remove the torx head bolts on this intake plate. An E10 trys to fit does not exactly and tries to strip out the torx socket. After removal my thoughts were to replace with a hex head or other easy to find bolt of the same thread pitch.

You did not mention what BMW you are working on but i assume that you are working on a V8, If thats the case it is a T30.  some people remove the intake to get to those bolts, but ive had god luck not needing to remove the intake.  hope that helps        Thanks Nathan
