How do I replace the door handles ( both inner and outer ) on a 1998 BMW 540i?

on the inners you must remove the door panel to replace the handle its pretty simple but for the outter you need a special BMW tool there is a small hole covered by a small black plastic cover on the door close to the latch you remove plastic cover insert special tool and remove door handle.   hope this helps
