Hi, I just purchased a 2001 BMW 325i, and I just worried about it not being the best choice. The car looks very well taken care of no external or internal wear it looks great. But I'm worried that being a 2001 it might begin to give mechanical problems. Can you tell me when these cars start to give issues. Also the oil light turned on for about a couple of seconds then turned off. The air is making a weird noise that dissapears when shut off. They had to put freeon beofore I took the car because it was not cooling all that well. Can you tell me if this was a good buy or if I should just go with a new car and if I should be worried. Your help is very much apprecaited. Thank You...

if you oil is full and you have a warning for low oil the level sensor is bad which is very common. The ac noise I would need to hear but may be a bad fan or just a leaf in the fan. BMW are wonderful cars to own and drive but it is not a Corolla. repair and maintance is a little pricey. you have to just know if it is worth it to you. remember this car may save your life at ant time!
