BMW Repair: bmw325i 2002 all lights flash at start, connecting jumper cables, battery terminals

Hi, I have a 325i 2002 automatic. When I turn the key to start the engine hesitates to start and sometimes won't even try to start, all the lights in the dash flash and the headlights flash then it starts. I checked the battery and it is green so it is fine. What could this be?

Try connecting jumper cables and recheck the problem. This eliminate all concerns with voltage. Also tighten both battery terminals and the neg wire where it is connected to the body. Let me know what happens. Also let me know if the auto headlight setting is on if the problem continues.
