BMW Repair: Remote key locking/unlocking not working, bmw 318is, glove box

I have BMW 318is, '96. year.
A while ago remote key stopped working. Tried procedures explained on net but they don't work. I don't get lock/unlock conformation when I try reinit remote. I can start the engine and drive.
Battery hes been changed.

if yu have the square remote, shake it, if you hear something inside take it apart and refit the loose chip.this was very common. When doing the initialization the procedure it is difficult to do perfectly, even when holding the instuctions in your hand-keep trying.if that fails you may have a bad control unit. that is located under rhe glove box.its a black box that just seems like an extra part. take out the 3 screws an remove te lower panel. the panel is a pain to get out and back in but just wiggle and try to work out the corners one at a time.when reinstalling, make sure to start with front slot(this will sense).
