Question
My window will not go up or down, and slowly slides down. What do I need to repair? Parts and tools?

Answer
replace the window regulator. also put on a new vapor barrier with new butyl tape to prevent water leaks into car
Brian,
Let me finish up.Pop off the wood trim, switch and 2 covers under the armrest. remove 5 t20 screws.Pry a corner off the door panel then work your way around. remove door handle cable and electrical connections. if your car has an air bag do not unplug with key on or you will set the warning light. peel off vapor barrier. move window to @3/4 up and remove the 8mm screw holding the window to regulator slide. remove the 3 t30 screws holding the motor. remove the 3 10mm nuts holding the regulator. remove regulator and install new one. if you did not tear the vapor barrier you can reuse it but use some new buttyl tape (3m ribbon sealer) on the barrier, this will prevent leaks. also of have an airbag you need to remove and reinstall, but do not worry it should not go off, maybe just leave plugged in and let it hang. hope this is better info, I did not mean to short you. This should take @1-2 hrs but can be done in 20 min if you have done a few.
