BMW Repair: Air conditioner, 2003 bmw 325i, bmw 325i

Question
My left and right side vents blow cold air, however, the two main vents puts out hot air. If assign the air to blow on my feet and the main vents, the main vents will then put out cold air. Please help, I have a 2003 BMW 325I (e46).

I don't know anything about the model you are talking about.  However, on my 94 525I there is a wheel like thing that you can turn up or down and there is a blue and red color at the top and bottom of the wheel.  If you turn it toward blue it is for the air conditioner and toward red for the heat.  Not sure if yours has that and if that is the problem or not.  The only other thing I can think of is that these vents may have come loose when someone may have worked under the dash or something.  Sorry I cannot be of more help.  If cold air is blowing it should come through all the vents I would think if not for these things.  Again I know nothing about this model though.
