Dodge: Ram Van Engine Swap, high performance engines, gas milage

Question
Hi, I'm about to undergo an engine swap and was hoping to get a little advice from you. I have a '99 Ram Van with a 318ci (130k miles), which is losing compression from one (or more) of the cylinders. I've deicided to pull the sluggish 318 and replace it with a 360 Magnum 300HP/375T crate motor (http://www.high-performance-engines.com/me01.html). I have a couple of questions about the swap...
1) Will the 360 bolt right in where the 318 came out, including computer, harness, etc.?
2) Can I use the same computer?
3) Would you suggest changing the transmission as well, or should I just leave it in?
4) What would you think about supercharging it? Would it toally kill my gas milage or be worth the extra power?

Thanks!
Robbie Poe.

Answer
The engine will go in,as far as the computer,i'd contact the dealer to find out for sure.I think it will but not positive.Transmission will be fine, supercharging is a matter of opinion,i personally would not do it simply because it being super charged i would have to test it every time i got in it to make sure it still worked!I've heard people say it helps gas mileage but i doubt it on a 360...You need to remember that it will be a lot cheaper to just go back with a 318 in case the computer and things will not work. And the gas mileage alone on a 360 will suck with a van because they are very heavy. This is just my opinion though......
