BMW Repair: E46 33O CI (EUROPEAN SPEC)ABS/DSC, hub rings, stub axles

Question
Hello Evan.I'm repairing the above car which is was built in 2000.The driver hit a pothole causing both driver-side hub axles to bend slightly and also the ABS/DSC lights to activate.A Bosch service centre scanner suggested "No wheel speed detected on right hand front wheel" and that the abs sensor for the wheel was faulty. This sensor was replaced but lights are still on.Scanner plugged into car again and after clearing memory it records the same fault. The scanner has also made reference to steering angle initialisation being incorrect.(steering wheel out slightly). In an effort to de activate these lights i propose to replace both stub axles so as to rule out broken abs hub rings and to have the wheels running true again. Will the steering angle have an influence on these lights remaining on and would it have to go to a dealer to have this fixed. Thanks again.. Answer
Dave, I would replace all bent or damaged componets as you suggest and replace the steering angle sensor on the steering column. Check for bent wheels and replace if found. Steering angle sensor has to be coded and initialized by a dealer style diagnostic machine.
