BMW Repair: 1999 528i Startup problem, startup problem, battery voltage

My car makes a clicking sound everytime I try to start the car. I don't know if it is the battery or the gas? Could you help me out?

Normand, normally this is caused by low battery voltage. Please Have the battery checked (after charging it, by charger or long test drive.) You can jump start it with the under hood battery posts. Frankly if you cant remember when the battery was last replaced or the original model year stamp is in the negative battery post (original battery) then I would go ahead and replace the battery.
