BMW Repair: E30 drivers seat needed, oem drivers, drivers seat

I have been looking for a 1989 325is drivers seat for a while. Can you tell me which seats can be substituted for the 1989 OEM  drivers seat

Mike, there are plenty of options for seats that can be substituted.  Unfortunately most of these are pretty expensive.  Your car should have had Recaro seats from the factory (top quality), while other E30's (non "is" models) got standard seats.  Recaro still makes some seats that look similar to your factory seats, but they will likely be in cloth.  Corbeau makes some good seats as well.  You can always try ebay for the factory seats, I've seen seats on there hundreds of times.  Just go to Ebay.com and type in "E30 seat" and hit search.
