BMW Repair: 1996 BMW 328i, bmw 328i, educated guess

Question
I have recently bought a replacement O2 Sensor with four wires(white, white, black, and gray. The replacement sensor didn't come with the connector on the end. The original on the car has red, yellow, black, and white. Do u know how to connect the different wires?

Answer
Hi John,
I am sorry but I know nothing about the aftermarket part that you bought. You can make an educated guess on which is the heater circuit for both old and new sensors ( the 2 wires that have continuity and have an amount of resistance). Then connect one set to the other set.
Now the other two wires should be the input and the output.
Which is which? Your guess is as good as mine on this aftermarket sensor, You can do it by trial and error though.
