Can you provide instructions on how to remove/replace the right rear (passenger side) window regulator in a 1998 528i?

It appears that the glass needs to be removed in order to get access to the bolts at the top of the regulator.  

I already have the replacement part.

Hello Dan,
Yes you are right that the window glass has to be removed.
Since you are already describing what can be seen after removing the door trim, then I assume that you know how to remove the door trim.
Proceed as follows:
a) bring down the glass b)pry off the outer weatherstrip with a plastic wedge-like tool taking care that the paint does not get damaged c)remove also the inner weatherstrip
d)move glass slightly upward to access retaining bolts (8 mm) then remove bolts e) detach glass from regulator and pull upward and outward(you may have to loosen the quarter panel vertical post, usually I don't) of the door itself,
then lay down where it is safe. e)proceed to remove and replace the regulator.f) proceed to re-install removed parts.
If you encounter any problem, just let me know. One important thing is that the glass does not get broken while doing the repair.
