BMW Repair: How to change Alternator for 93 BMW 740IL, oil filter housing, radiator hose

I have to replace my alternator for BMW 740IL 1993

I have gone as far as removed the 3 bolts but cannot seem to get it off the chassis

THere seem to be something in the way of removing the unit

Are there any procedures or diagrams or any other things I need to remove to get the alternator off

Mike, manual shows removing belt, tensioner, mounting for oil filter housing and set aside. Remove fan and fan shroud. Remove radiator mounting clips (I don't know what for). Move radiator hose asside. Protect radiator fins from damage when removing alternator (piece of cardboard). Remove electrical connections. Remove air duct to alternator from underneath with splash guard removed. Remove the three mounting bolts pull forward and twist clock wise out of mounting. I've never done one of these. This is how the manual reads. I suggest buying a bentley manual if you work on your own car.
