fuel tank often is shriveled by vaccum.what is the usual problem? thanks!

Answer
Usually a problem with the LDP pump, carbon (charcoal) canister or the little air filter to the LDP (Leak diagnosis pump, used to check the fuel system tightness for evaporative emission controls)pump. Remove left rear tire and left rear fender liner and take a look around at the three components I mentioned. I believe the system breathes through the LDP pump and filter.
