BMW Repair: Power Steering, power steering, pulley

I have a 1984 318i sedan with low miles.  The car does not have power steering. Can power steering be installed in this car? If so, how difficult is the process?

 Yes, technically you could put power steering on this car.  First you would need a powersteering rack, pump, harmonic balancer pulley, lines, and patients.

 It would be difficult to do, as the rack is very tight and there is not much room to work.
