BMW Repair: Hard start everytime, 1985 bmw 318i, bmw 318i

I am having a problem with my 1985 bmw 318i. Every time I try starting the car it will start but it will die after just a second unless I give it alot of gas and after giving it gas for a couple of seconds it will idle just fine. But this happens every single time even if I just got done driving the car, also happens if its cold. I was wondering what the cause of this problem could be.

 This is an odd problem that seems to be happening alot to 318i owners.  If you look through past questions, you will notice there are countless 318i questions lately.

 Anyhow, if it's just hard to start, then it sounds like your cold-start injector may not be funtcioning correctly.

 I would test it to make sure this is a problem or not.  That's what the problem was with the other few cars I dealt with.
