bmw 1995 m3 hi no it still revs up and down just over and above 1000rpm for a couple of minutes and stalls when it is cold or warm. its just sometimes it does it but is becomeing more frequent. would u think i have a faulty lamda probe

What's a lamda probe???  the only other thing i can tell you to do without looking at it is check for a vacum leak.  That will cause it to idle rough and stall and the best way to do that is to take a water spray bottle and spray the entire engine and all hoses including vacume lines (pay attention to where you spray so you will know where to look if something changes) and listen to any differences the engine might make while ideling.  If you spray a hose and the car acts like it wants to shut off then you know that hose needs to be changed and etc.... what happens when you start it up and rev it up to 2000 rpms and hold it there?  Does it still want to stall or is it just doing it while ideling?
