BMW Repair: Window, actuator assembly, rubber mallet

hi, i have a 95 325is.  when i am driving and hit a bump the drivers side window reacts and acts like the door is opening in the state where the window rolls down and then back up automatically.  The interior light also comes on as if the door is open.   Any ideas?  Thank you!

Robert, this sounds like faulty hall sensors in the door lock actuator that are thinking the door has opened when the actuator is jarred be the impact. Open the door and manually lock the door latch and tap the lock area with the key on with a rubber mallet or the like. See if you get the same symptoms. If so have the door lock actuator assembly replaced. You could try to lube the latch with some silicone spray and see if the problem is still there.
