BMW Repair: Instrument Lights have mind of their own, 1999 bmw 328i, bmw 328i

Just yesterday the intrument lights are behaving weird.  The Blinkers work nut the arrows don't light up on the intrument panel.  The door ajar wasn't working, then came on when the door was closed.  My traction contol came on for no reason and stayed on.  When starting the car it appears the diagnostics which lights the information, i.e. check-engine light...etc don't light.  My high beam indicator doesn't light.  Other nuances exist.  Other than that the car runs great.  Any ideas.

Charlie, Electrical problem like these are sometimes hard to pin down at there source. It sounds like a faulty instrument cluster. I have also seen the Light module and the radio cause these problems. If it is a any of these components are at fault the dealer must code them to the car. I would advise taking the car into your favorite dealer. These modules are pricey.
