BMW Repair: BMW 323I sports wagon front wheel bearing nut, front wheel bearing, sears craftsman

Question
The wheel bearing on the driver side of this vehicle is in needs to be replaced.  I would like to know what is the size socket in millimeters that is used to remove the nut that secures the front wheel bearing and where I can obtain this socket.  Thanks

Sam, I believe it is a 32mm 12point socket. You can get it from Sears(craftsman). I have one from Snap-On and a back up from Craftsman. Please don't reuse this nut, they are cheap and in stock at your dealer or other parts websites. Make sure the nut is on there good (420Nm torque spec) Just use a good 1/2" impact gun. I always replace the hub too, your choice.
