Question -
My Air Conditioning unit is no longer functioning correctly in my BMW 318I <YEAR 2000> There has been a noticed loss of Blow from the unit recently,It is now hardly blowing any air out at all.I dont want to just book my car into my local dealers without having the likely problem solution.Im hoping you can help me with my query, and would the fault be one that i could repair myself ?

Answer -
Mark, kind of sounds like a faulty final stage resistor for the blower fan. Look at previous posts on the subject that Look similar to your issue. Look around 8/26/06 for E46 model final stage replacement.

Answer
Mark, should have been in my post to Doug on 8/24/06. Its in the passenger side of the heater box up against the firewall. You can also check this site out. www.forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=256286
This is for U.S. models and I hope your countries version is similar. Good luck.
