BMW Repair: 1999 BMW e46 323i, bmw e46, negative battery

Hello i have a 1999 bmw e46 the only problem i have with this car is that when the car is cool it is hard to start but when it starts it drives perfect but if i get out of it and get back in same problem hard to start.But when i get it started i can turn it off and it will crank every time.Please let me know what you think.

Bobby, Does the engine have a hard time cranking when it is cold? Or does it crank normally. If so please have the battery tested. Check the year stamp on the negative battery post if it is an original BMW battery (white color) it will have a date stamp of 98 or 99. Please replace if this is the case.
