BMW Repair: too many BMW problems, valve cover gasket, traction control system

Question
Thanks for your availability to help!  I have a 2000 528i that runs beautifully when it runs.  But between 65K and 80K miles (presently) I have have spent $7000 in various and unrelated repairs.  New radiator, new DSC module for the traction control system, $700 on the A/C, leaky valve cover gasket, thrust bushings (near the front brakes?), two of the 3 spindles (that run a belt) broke, and some other misc repairs.

My question, for which there is no right answer, is whether you think I should begin concluding, at 80,000 miles, that this car is going go keep being a problem car and maybe I should consider disposing of it OR whether I should instead feel good about what has BEEN fixed and that I might be in good shape for a long time to come, other than a few predictable items along the way.  I just am frustrated at this many problems this SOON and in this short period of time. . . .thanks again.

Answer
Being frustrated with auto repair is everyones problem. You have spent alot of money for the previous repairs.I would think that if you have a good mechanic working on the car then the problems will subside.Enjoy your car it still has many miles left in it,the clue is regular Maintnence.
