BMW Repair: bmw 323ci year 2000 door panel removal, bmw 323ci, door lock actuator

Hi my problem is with the driver door lock, does not always unlock with remote but passenger door does.Sometimes both will unlock but more often than not the driver door stays locked and have to use the key. Both doors always lock using remote. Went to remove panel to have a look to see if something was sticking but cound not get it off at all, I hope you can help me.

Scott, sounds like your door lock actuator is failing. You must be VERY mechanically inclinded to attempt this repair yourself. I would take car to a professional with newer BMW experience. Dealer is best but some folks don't have the cash. I would charge 3.0hrs. labor plus parts at work.
Don't mean to scare you, but this one is not easy. I don't even like doing this job. If you want I can give you the instructions. Let me know.
