BMW Repair: possible coolant leak, coolant level, coolant leak

Question
I was just getting in my 89 bmw 325i when i looked down and saw a puddle of bright greenish fluid on my all weather mats on the drivers side. There appears to be a saturated area of the carpet on the hump about a foot or so from the gas petal. The coolant level is adequate in the expansion tank. This appears to have just happened as I have not driven the car in 3 days. What do you think it is?
Thanks for any help you can give me.......should I have it towed in?

Answer
Coolant on the mats usually means the heater core or control valve is leaking.
BMW had a problem with certain year 325"s and did a recall with a free replacement.
Check with your local dealer.
As to towing it, that would be the best thing but if you have to drive it to get it looked at I would loosen the overflow cap to releave the pressure to prevent a complete blowout onto your foot.
