how can I look at and print the shop manual for my bmw

I dont know of a site that has that available.  The BMW site costs $30 a day to access. You need to break down and buy a manual.  The Haynes are good general manuals or you can buy a Bently.  EBay or other sites can usually provide one.  Sorry theres no easy access.
