BMW Repair: NEED HELP RE:REALL ON MY 93 325I!!!, odometer statement, digital odometer

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE...
I WAS SELLING MY 93 325I THIS MORNING & THE BUYER FELL THRU ---HE PULLED UP ON CARMEX A RECALL BACK IN 96 STATING THAT THE ODOMETER WAS TURNED BACK---I AM THE 3RD OWNER(DEALER INCLUDED)-- THEIR IS A STICKER IN MY CAR W/ PARTIAL INFO ON THE RECALL.
THE BUYER SAID IF I CAN PROVIDE PROOF ---HE WILL PURCHASE..--HELP!!!!!!!

does this car have a digital odometer? if so, there is no way that i know of to turn back the odometer. however, on these older cars, if the instrument cluster needed to be replaced, there was no way to transfer the existing mileage into the new instrument cluster. therefore, the correction was to affix an odometer statement sticker to the drivers door jam stating that the instrument cluster was replaced at _______miles and that the date. i don't recall any recall that pertained to the instrument cluster and mileage.
