BMW Repair: BMW Tail Lights, light assembly, tail light

Question
The indicator on the dash tells me I have a bad bulb in the right rear tail light assembly. All the lights appear to work correctly and I have replaced all the bulbs, but the indicator on the dash won't go away. Can you help me?

Answer
Find the modeule the brake light circuit uses to monitor the condition of the bulbs, (depending on what car you have, it's located in different places).  And be sure the gain swith isn't activated due to an excess or lack of resistance in the line, if thats the case, start traceing the wire back to where it's having a connection problem.  Another possibility is that the bulb has a corroded connection or the connection to the cluster has lower than normal resistance.
