GMC Repair: GMC Canyon, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor

Question
I have 2006 GMC Canyon 3.5L 4x4 with 42000 miles.I was driving in the city then stop at the store for 5 minutes. When I came back I could not start the engine. The battery is new.I tried about 10 times. It cranking very good. After about 10 minutes I was about to call AAA,and tried one more time and it starts. This was never happened before. What should I check?

Answer
Hi
I would check fuel pressure, first. I would also have the PCM (control Module) scanned for any possible Throttle body codes, or any other codes CKP (Crankshaft sensor) or CMP (Camshaft sensor) any of these could cause a crank but no start.
If these 2 items check out, I would then check for spark at 2 or more of the coils/plugs to make sure you getting fire to the spark plugs.
I Hope this helps.
