GMC Repair: gmc sierra fuel module, 2007 gmc sierra, gmc sierra

Question
I'm having trouble with a 2007 gmc sierra fuel control module.  While i was driving the truck it suddenly turned off.  I tried restarting it but it sounded like it needed gas but it was 3/4 full.  Took it to the mechanic and they thought it was the fuel pump, but the fuel pump is working fine.  They then found that the fuel control module is getting shorted out but they can't figure out where the short is coming from.  Note that the truck has a pro charger and alot of extras that came with the truck when I got it.

Answer
you will need an electrical diagnosis. it sounds like there is at least one short in the harness (every mechanics arch enemy). this will need to be traced by a mechanic or dealership. or you could bypass the extras. This should be covered in your warranty
