GMC Repair: Knock Sensor for 2005 Chevy Suburban, metric wrenches, chevy suburban

Question
An engine light came on on my 2005 Chevy Suburban and I had it checked by a mechanic who said the knock sensor needed replacing. I am just wanting to replace it myself.  I was needing to know where it is located and if it requires a certain tool or torque when replaced.

Answer
should be on either side. all you need is a wrench. I am unclear on the size, but you will need metric wrenches. all you will have to do is disconnect the wiring harness, loosen the sensor, put some thread sealer before you reinstall. Use very little. You will need to do this from underneath. All you need is a floor jack and basic wrenches.
