GMC Repair: 2002 GMC Envoy lower ball joints, lower ball joints, gmc envoy

My shop has told me the bushings on the lower control arms need to be replaced but no one sells just the bushing so I have to replace the whole unit.  Plus he said there is no aftermarket options therefore only a GMC supplied unit will work.  The price is over $800 to replace both.  my question is why can't the bushings be replaced?

I have replaced the bushing and they are part of what is called a lower control arm bracket, it holds the control arm into the frame, typically they make noise, but rarely ever fail.  It is probably a dealer only item, so that price is probably accurate.  I see you listed ball joints, are you sure it does not need ball joints and not the control arm brackets?
