GMC Repair: 2001 Pontiac Bonneville, pontiac bonneville, shock absorbers

Question
Hi, I have a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville with 39,500 miles.  Actually, I love the car...  In looking at the owner's manual, the service schedule only recommends the usual oil and oil filter change.  I change the oil and all filers religiously.  Question:  isn't there something else I should be doing at this point?  Change the spark plugs? When should I change the shock absorbers? I'm a very "light" driver, easy on stops and goes, etc....  I just want to be sure that I am maintaining the car properly...

Answer
spark plugs are 100,000 miles plugs, and coolant is 100,000 or ten years before service.  Shocks should last to at least 100,000 unless you develop a leak.  At your mileage i would suggest a fuel injection cleaning, fuel filter change,  tire rotation and overall general inspetion of the vehicle.  other than that you really do not have much to do
