GMC Repair: air sensor switch on 1999 gmc sierra, gmc sierra, air sensor

Good afternoon.my question is when i remove the air sensor switch will freon leak out or anything?My air will run good then just goes hot and then comes back cooler eventually.I
was told to swap out the sensor switch.what do you think?

if the sensor is mounted outside the radiator inside the grill, yes your can remove it without losing freon, if it is attached to the condensor or a/c lines, you will need to recover the freon to remove pressure from the system.  I would not attempt to remove the switch unless you have the appropriate equipment to do such recovery
