GMC Repair: blower not working, blower motor, insulator

Question
I have a 2002 gmc SLE envoy and when we bought the car, the fan controls the heat and a/c blowing was working on all the setting ,now none of the settings work.

I would suspect the blower resistor, which is located next to the blower motor, passanger side, under glove box.
Should be an  easy DIY fix, 2 screws hold the sound insulator, 2 screws hold the resistor and 2 electrical connectors.
