GMC Repair: camshaft position sensor, gmc envoy xl, camshaft position sensor

I own a 2005 GMC Envoy Xl and my code reader has stated that the camshaft position sensor is faulty. Do you have any knowledge on replacing this part and where is it located?

The camshaft Position sensor (CMP) Is located on the front of head, directly above the belt. Small bolt holds it in, and it is a round sensor. If any belt maintance was done recently, Look for the sensor to have been damaged. It is the electrical connector that is EASILY damaged by a ratchet when turning the belt tensioner to remove belt.
