GMC Repair: Wont stay running, gmc denali, throtle body

Question
I got a 2002 GMC Denali XL V8. The truck was running fine until I came up state. I put about 4 or 5 bottles of dry gas in it and it still won't stay running only when I spray starting fluid in the throtle body it ran for about 2 second's before stalling out especially when I give it gas. What do you think it is

Answer
Hi
My best guess would be the fuel pump.
Everything you state sound just like a fuel pump.
You could check pressure(48-54 psi for vin Z, 55-62 psi for vins V, T, U).
Also I would limit using starting fluid, it has no lubricity AND it CAN spontanously combust and blow the upper plenum off the motor.
I hope this helps
