GMC Repair: power steering, hose diameter, speed flow

Question
Previously I had Petrol with Power steering engine car recently I have purchased Diesel engine car with Power steering.
I find the power steering harder that previouly owned car.
Is this noraml for Diesel engine car?
The power steeing can be made "feather touch" to handle?

Answer
Hi
In general there should be no difference.
ALOT af variables can effect power steering preformance.
Idle speed, flow rate, hose diameter, steering type, etc...
If they were identical TYPES of cars, eg..both 2007 VW Golf, one diesel and one gas, and there is a difference, I would ask the dealerships' mechanics.
ANY variable even year model COULD effect....
IN GENERAL though, there is USUALLY no difference in Gas and Diesel.
Hope this helps
