GMC Repair: replacing speakers or adding speakers 2001 gmc jimmy, anchor bolts, gmc jimmy

QUESTION: How do you replace speakers in front door panel and rear panel in 2-door model. We managed to hook into wiring in lower storage door panel, but new speakers still don't work, Help....

Here is EXACT procedure for removing door panel...
You'll need a specialty tool, a Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover, should be able to get one at your local parts store.


Remove the inside door handle bezel.
Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped.  
Remove the power accessory switch mounting panel, if equipped with power accessories.
Remove the trim panel armrest screws.
Use the Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover in order to release the door trim panel retainers.
Remove the door trim panel from the door.

The speaker will then be acessible.

Here is procedure

Remove the upper and lower front seat anchor bolts.
Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor nut.
Remove the assist handle.  
Remove the coat hook.  
Remove the endgate or the liftgate opening door sill trim plate.  
Fold the rear seats down.
Remove the jack storage cover (left side only).
Remove the screw that retains the upper body side trim body side trim panel to the vehicle (left side only).
Remove the upper body side trim panel from the vehicle.
Feed the seat belt through the trim panel.
Remove the body side front lower trim panel from the vehicle.

Pawl
