GMC Repair: 2003 yukon-idle, aerosol spray, gm dealership

2003 Yukon 5.3. runs great on highway, anytime we stop at stop sign, it wants to die. idles up and down and wants to die even in park. idles rough. PLEASE HELP

Hi
The throttle bore needs to be cleaned.
GM makes a product recommended called
"Top Engine Cleaner" (get the aerosol spray form).
You could also use just regular Carb cleaner, but it will not properly lubricate the throttle blade. Spray it in and open the throttle by hand and clean it off with a good tough paper rag or a lintfree cloth rag.
There is also a reprogram availble from your local GM dealership, which will address this issue so, after cleaning, it will not happen again.
